Australian Government honoured Amitabh Bachchan on Occasion of 100 Years of Indian Cinema

Amitabh Bachchan has been honored by the Government of Australia again; this time for his remarkable contribution to the 100 years of Indian cinema.

"Another recongnition by the Australian Government and its Commission here in Mumbai, in celebration for the 100 years of Indian Cinema, and my contribution to wards fructifying the relations between the two countries. I am most humbled," the actor wrote on his official blog.

Amitabh Bachchan's Debut Hollywood Film Meyer Wolfish

Mega Star Amitabh bachchan says he has not charged anything for his appearance in director Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.
"The Role is small, hardly of a minute. Baz Luhrmann was touring India couple of years ago...going all around the country, he dropped in at my office with a friend, who did some painting work for me. we just had a casual conversation and he left, " Big B told reporters.
"Years and a half ago he called me and said he has a role for me which he said was not worthy and said if i will do it. I readily agreed. As a gesture it is not remunerative. I have not charged anything. I did it just for a gesture,"added the Indian superstar who will be seen Meyer wolfish in the movie.

Amitabh Bachchan shoot for KBC 2012

Amitabh Bachchan took a break from his routine sunday life. Every Sunday, he comes out of his house to greet the crowd that assembles near his house for dekho of their favorite star, sorry this time i was busy shooting for the promos of KBC, so would n't greet the Sunday crowd, and then rains also played spoilsport, " he says meanwhile Big B is gearing up for the KBC 6. " he is very excited about the shows and this time we are planning few changes in the format of make the show more interesting," says a KBC Official.
